About Me.

I believe we can change the world with love and acceptance, especially now. We can break down barriers with understanding, compassion and dignity. Each person is unique and that is what makes humanity so beautiful. This store is proudly committed to progressive values and creating opportunities for expressing these values.

Check out my PERSONALIZE IT collection to make your gift personal and special. If you see something that is not listed as personalized, send me a message to inquire about adding that option. Often, there will be a minimal fee to add that option.

These are not AI designs. All of these designs were created by me, a human, and made with love and positive intentions. Stock images are sometimes used as a reference or component only. Please support human created designs.

What Drives Me

Feminist, LGBTQ+ and Progressive Focused Items to Affirm  And Celebrate Our Lives

Creating a better world for women and LGBTQ+ people drives me in all that I do. I have been working on these issues for decades as a volunteer activist, trying to support myself in separate ways which stretched me very thin. I am now focused on merging my activism with my art so that my energy can remain focused on creating positive life affirming change for our world. I believe we can change the world with love and acceptance, especially now. We can break down barriers with understanding, compassion and dignity. Each person is unique and that is what makes humanity so beautiful.

So here is a bit about me. I am a feminist and a Lesbian. I am a multi-disciplinary and socially-engaged artist, an activist and a graphic designer with D’Arte Designs LLC. The Expressive Progressive Collection is part of my work and hopefully, will enable me to continue my studio and socially-engaged art practices which includes The Identity Center, a traveling, socially-engaged vibrant art engagement activity project that offers creativity, LGBTQ+ affirmation and expansion of the participant’s awareness of the diversity of humanity, while providing the opportunity for dialogue. For more information regarding my studio practice, visit https://www.deniserduarte.com

During my previous corporate career, I experienced and witnessed the negative impact of discrimination and injustice as an employee and as a manager. This has fueled my quest for equality for all people.

My lifelong passions include art, activism and the exploration of the social fabric of life.
